Ryan Flaim

Ryan Flaim is a Senior Vice President.  She has more than 16 years of experience leading investor relations, crisis communications, internal communications, public relations and strategic marketing programs for high-tech, clean-tech, media and entertainment brands. She has led public companies through nearly 30 quarterly earnings cycles, taking a lead role in drafting executive scripts, press releases and earnings presentations. She has built out comprehensive investor relations functions for newly public companies and has extensive experience organizing investor targeting and marketing initiatives, including non-deal roadshows and investor conferences in the U.S. and abroad.

Ryan has a passion for advising executives and corporations on navigating through complex and challenging business situations with effective, thoughtful and strategic communications. She has been instrumental in implementing investor relations and communications strategies for companies during special situations, such as mergers & acquisitions, employee reductions, earnings misses, bankruptcy and restructurings, and executive transitions.

Prior to joining Sharon Merrill, Ryan was VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for New Hampshire-based GT Advanced Technologies Inc. since 2011.  Before that she spent three years as an Account Director for an investor relations firm in New York.  Earlier in her career she worked for Civic Entertainment Group and Comcast Spotlight.

Ryan received a BS in Communication from Boston University.
